Stephan Izzi, MD

Stephan Izzi, MD, FAAFP, is a board-certified Family Physician at Arundel Medical Group, Inc. located in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
He has spent most of his life in Maryland and received his MD degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He then completed a 3-year residency program in Family Practice at the University of Maryland Medical Center and is board certified.
Dr. Izzi brings over 35 years of experience to the practice. He performs wellness physicals and treats the entire range of common adult and adolescent medical and mental conditions, as well as providing a variety of services such as vaccinations and health screening tests. He can help his patients develop preventive strategies to maintain optimal health. Dr. Izzi has extensive experience managing patients struggling with weight loss by employing selected medications such as phentermine along with essential weight loss strategies. Dr. Izzi stresses the importance of weight maintenance using a medication approach as well as healthy lifestyle approaches.
Additionally, he treats worker’s compensation patients who have suffered-on-the-job injuries and performs Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals for commercial drivers.
